The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Jesus declares He is the source of both resurrection and eternal life, promising everlasting life to believers.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cYou killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite Jesus being put to death, God resurrected Him, an event attested by the apostles.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cSo Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb.\u201d<\/p>\n Joseph of Arimathea is described preparing Jesus\u2019 body for burial and sealing His tomb.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cHe is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee.\u201d<\/p>\n The message conveyed is that Jesus has risen from the dead, fulfilling His own prophecy.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThe angel said to the women, \u2018Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n An angel reassures the women that Jesus has risen from the dead, as He had foretold.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cBut Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.\u201d<\/p>\n Christ\u2019s resurrection is presented as the first example of eternal life that awaits believers.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cFor we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.\u201d<\/p>\n This verse affirms that Christ\u2019s resurrection means He is now immortal.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cFor he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.\u201d<\/p>\n God has delivered believers from sin and into the realm of Jesus, where they find redemption.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThat he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.\u201d<\/p>\n This confirms that Jesus\u2019 burial and resurrection occurred as prophesied in the Scriptures.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI want to know Christ\u2014yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.\u201d<\/p>\n The writer expresses a deep desire to experience a profound connection with Christ, sharing in His sufferings and resurrection.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWho then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died\u2014more than that, who was raised to life\u2014is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.\u201d<\/p>\n Christ\u2019s resurrection and ascension to heaven empower Him to advocate on our behalf before God.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cMary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: \u2018I have seen the Lord!\u2019 And she told them that he had said these things to her.\u201d<\/p>\n Mary Magdalene announces her encounter with the resurrected Jesus, affirming His message to the disciples.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cBut thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n This verse celebrates the triumph over death and sin granted through Jesus Christ.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cBut God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.\u201d<\/p>\n God\u2019s power is highlighted in Jesus\u2019 resurrection, which broke the bonds of death.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cFor we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.\u201d<\/p>\n The belief in Jesus\u2019 resurrection assures that believers will also be resurrected to join Him.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThen Jesus told him, \u2018Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Jesus praises the faith of those who believe without having seen Him.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIf you declare with your mouth, \u2018Jesus is Lord,\u2019 and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.\u201d<\/p>\nActs 4:33<\/h3>\n
